So many questions went unanswered during those seventy-two hours [offline]—so many curiosities cast aside and forgotten without being pursued. I was less harried, I suppose, but I was also far less informed, and not as advanced in my understanding of all sorts of things that interested me.
The #unhack probably lies in the realization that the learning achieved by being online and constantly checking for this and that is actually a very vapid one, even more so than the author here believes… but the article in its entirety is an interesting read to think about the online vs. offline life:
